SPRUCING UP

The Copiague Kiwanis flower box on the corner of Deauville Boulevard and Montauk Highway in Copiague got a spring cleaning recently. Several members of the Kiwanis Club joined together and shared the work and good feelings that people get when doing something special to keep their community looking good. Later on, the club plans to fill the box with beautiful flowers. A KIWANIAN NOW

Tara Buckley always knew she would be a Kiwanian someday. She just didn't know it would be in her home community of Copiague. A Copiague graduate of the Class of 1990, Tara was an active member of the High School Key Club during her high school days before attending SUNY Brockport and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. She now has her own communication business. Left to right are Past President Bob MacIntosh, Tara and Club President Dr. Maria Salonia-Bellucci.

IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR

At a recent meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Copiague, Laurie Prisco was inducted into the club. She was sponsored by her husband, Tony Prisco Jr. Laurie is an 8th grade teacher at Maria Regina School and wants to extend her commitment to children by becoming an active member of the Copiague Kiwanis Club - a club whose mission is to help children both locally and worldwide.
